Changing Colours is a short educational game project developed in 2 days for the Mini Jam 155: Wind. The development team was made up of 3 members: Giulio Icaro Sirio, our Music, Sound Designer and Game Designer, Matteo Riccardo Gaudino, full-stack Developer, while I collaborated as UX/UI Designer and Game Artist. In this Jam, Changing Colours ranked 10th in the "Presentation" criteria and came in 12th as Overall best games.
The gameplay consists in constantly changing the colours of the pinwheel helixes in order to get a new colour from different combinations of the primary colours: red, blue and yellow, following the theory Johannes Itten’s colour wheel, applied by following Isaac Newton's spinning disc.

Let the sweet sounds of piano and flute guide you through this peaceful experience and test your knowledge of the colour theory :) Feel free to play our game on the web by accessing the project's page at this link.
